The taste:

The A&P Analyst as part of the NAM (North America) A&P (Advertising& Promotion) Team ensures Trade Spend and A&P expenses are recorded accurately and timely by enforcing accounting control processes


• Drive the A&P planning process across Brand, Customer Marketing, Central and Innovation A&P business units

• Brand, Customer Marketing, Central and Innovation Overhead and Reporting tracking and variance management throughout the year

• Key input into system development/evolution

• Journal Entry Creation: prepare, calculate and post accruals to ensure the month-end results show the clear and fair picture

• Prepare quality Balance Sheet Reconciliations (for A&P- and Trade Spend-related accounts) through deep understanding of the figures supported & reported

• Period Close Leadership as well as taking responsibility for the day to day tasks required, managing Manila/Bangalore to meet deadline

• Ensure that financial processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding internal control procedures are strictly adhered to for Audit Support

• Maximize benefits of globalized system processes

• Exploit SAP to its maximum

• Contribute ideas, energy, enthusiasm and support to the continuous improvement of the process

• Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes

How to serve:

• University / College degree in finance / accounting

• At least 3 years working experience within Financial Accounting / Reporting, and/or Financial Controlling

• Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX is considered as an advantage

• Experience with Shared services process activities is an advantage

• Fluent English knowledge

• Relevant experience with SAP FI /CO modules

• Strong Excel knowledge

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

• Hard working personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity

• Flexible regarding travelling
