Global Bank Network Management is part of the O&T Division. BNM manages key relationships with the global agent bank and custody service providers, Finance, Regulatory, Legal & Compliance, Global Operations, Global Treasury, ICG Product teams, etc. Bank Network Management houses all Citi owned and operated bank accounts within the central bank account repository, ABACUS. The Bank Signatory Management Team is responsible for maintaining the completeness and accuracy of Citi bank account signing authorities globally.

The role includes the collation, review and maintenance of signing authority data in ABACUS, driving team projects to completion and building and maintaining processes to enhance controls, track progress and provide metrics reporting for team projects.

Into our team we are looking for a

Bank Signatory Management Analyst - Bank Network Management

Your tasks:

  • Maintain the central record of signing authorities on cash (phase 1) and security accounts (phase 2) that are open throughout the agent network

  • Collate signing authority documents internally and from the agent bank network to populate the central repository (ABACUS/BSM system)

  • Maintain the database (ABACUS/BSM) of all signing authorities on bank accounts open at all agent banks throughout the network

  • Contribute to system and process development to ensure robust controls are implemented

  • Ensure best standards and practices are adhered to through reviewing and updating signing authority documents in a timely manner

  • Manage/develop exception processes to maintain completeness of Citi’s bank account signing authority inventory

  • Ensure that golden source information housed in ABACUS/BSM is maintained and current

  • Lead and/or contribute to team projects

  • Ensure that all agent banks have received and applied updated signing authority documents securely

  • Develop and maintain tools to track and report progress on BNM/BSM projects

Your profile:

  • Bachelor Degree plus 2-3 years of experience in the international securities industry (in Regulatory/Control, Network Management, Securities/Custody Operations, Custody/Clearance Sales or Relationship Management / Documentation).

  • Fluent English language knowledge

  • Good understanding of the Global Network Management function.

  • General understanding of the securities settlement process & custody operations, cash management/services, foreign exchange, payments and derivatives (including futures).

  • Experience with managing relationships, documentation & Bank/custody account management

  • A working knowledge of SWIFT (admin, system, & industry initiatives) is a plus.

  • The individual should have good analytical, communication skills along with time management expertise and the ability to manage many projects concurrently.

  • The individual must have good planning and organizational skills and be a self-starter.
