IBM Business Analyst in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Objective of the Job:As being part of the Metro Application Team, Business Analyst’s core objectives are:

  • Work in both Development and Maintenance projects of Metro as a Business Analyst by understanding and translating business requirements into system requirements.

  • Participate / drive / initiate any improvement idea in the Team that is targeting to either make the Metro Team work better or enhances the application itself.


  • Manage relationship with the End-User community on day to day basis

  • Translate business requirements to system requirements by:

  • Getting early involvement in early concept phase to be able to define Epics

  • Drive discovery sessions to better understand User Stores

  • Work with Development Team to groom User Stories to size them

  • Keep in touch with Product Owner and Iteration Manager to prioritize User Stories

  • Assist Development Team during the Sprints

  • Drive Testing

  • Support defect resolution

  • Train End-Users

  • Continuously learn the application and business process behind

  • Follow Agile principles (value and practices) that has been set and accepted by the Metro Application Team

  • Take part in Team events and share knowledge and expertise

  • Never stop learning - complete Think40 objectives each year

  • English Fluent

  • Good communication skills

  • Be a teamplayer and a self motivated person

  • Good in working towards deadlines

  • Good analytical skills

  • Be flexible and ability to prioritize

  • High level understanding of key interfacing applications

  • High level understanding of underlying technology
