Unit presentation:

BT provides communication, network and IT services to global companies. Contract Delivery Shared Service (CDSS), is the Shared Service unit of BT supporting Lead to Cash business processes from customer requests to billing. CDSS role is to handle customer requests for prices and orders, manage billing, maximize margin and deliver high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. CDSS is a global organisation of 1600 staff globally including 400 in Hungary. At CDSS we believe success is through our people, our aim is to create an environment for people to be successful and do a great job for BT and our customers.

Role holder is required to support:

· Category Managers, Buyers on maintenance of their categories as assigned from time to time

· Procurement Team on delivering required reports and on formalising Purchase Orders

· Carry out due diligence of Purchase Requisitions and eventually conduct negotiations per agreement with Category Managers to achieve maximum savings on a single order basis

· Drive consolidation of supplier base

· Manage and align with Key stakeholders in the assigned categories

· Relationship management with Suppliers in the assigned categories

Role holder is expected to:

•Create the different weekly/monthly/yearly reports for the Procurement Team

•Issue Purchase Orders on all Purchase Categories following the «PO issue and signature process»

•Maintain the supply base

•Work closely with internal business partners to understand their requirements

•Manage the supply base to ensure delivery against contractual and commercial commitments and “On Contract” supplier performance and ensure business benefit is realised

•Develop and maintain knowledge of a category, region or function in which they operate including market dynamics and product life cycles


· Typically Bachelor degree or equivalent


•Fluent English is a must, plus ITALIAN is an advantage

•Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications, especially MS Excel (pivots)

•Knowledge of MS Access is an advantage

•Expected to generate MIS and data analysis for the categories

•Good commercial sense

•Ethical Trading practice

•Excellent problem solving skills

•Team player

•High level of accuracy

•Able to manage cultural diversity

•Experience of working in Global roles and remote functioning desirable

•Ability to work in stretched time zones

•Experience in Telecom industry desirable
