The longer term vision is to build a highly distributed cloud infrastructure that together with the 5G evolution enables the networked society. Innovation and technical leadership in cloud services and infrastructure is needed to ensure we have products for commercial deployment as quickly as possible within the company-wide Application Development Platform (ADP) program.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced cloud software developers. The primary purpose of this area is to develop a container platform and surrounding tooling, both as a product and as-a-Service for internal and external applications. The teams within this area are focusing on particular aspects of the container platform, for example, networking plugins, life-cycle-management, scheduling, monitoring/instrumentation, higher-level orchestration, identity and access management. We need to leverage the industry community where desirable, so the job includes evaluation, integration, and contributing back to open source 3rd party components.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering

  • Development experience of applications and solutions in Linux Containers, KVM, and Docker

  • Development/operations experience in Orchestration system such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Openstack

  • Competence in instrumentation services such as system level tracing techniques and monitoring systems such as Prometheus or similar

  • Hands-on experience working in open source projects and have contributed to open source projects

  • Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices

  • Familiar with networking technologies such as SDN and OVS

  • Familiar with Distributed Systems technologies

  • Ability and willingness to build new innovative products and solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, passion for work and positive attitude.

  • Fluent in oral and written English.
