We are looking for a Contract Specialist for our Team within the Sourcing organization.
Who we are? We provide day to day sourcing support activities to the ESC (Enterprise Supply Chain) Country heads and Sourcing Managers including, but not limited to: RFP/RFQ support, contract management, supplier selection support and negotiations.
The Contract Specialist interfaces with internal businesses, suppliers and legal groups, and work with Contract Analysts, Sourcing Managers and Category Leads to manage the contract life-cycle of contracts, including but not limited to the expiring contracts in our contract database.
The Contract Specialist needs to be organized, detailed and have strong multi-tasking skills as they will be responsible for managing several contracts across different categories and countries.
Liaise with contract owners, stakeholders, sourcing managers and suppliers in written communication and via tele- or videoconference
Review and manage the contract milestones
Take necessary actions and manage the contract process (contract termination, contract renewal, contract amendment, etc.) based on the business decision
Manage the contract renewal process from contract drafting to execution
Obtain the required approvals and ensure contract compliance and risk management
Get involved in contract rationalization and process improvement initiatives
Reporting and analysis related to contract management
Meet all audit guidelines and ensure adherence to Citi processes and procedures.
BA or equivalent experience preferred
Strong administrative, analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to quickly learn other computer application.
Knowledge of ERP systems and eProcurement tools such as Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, etc.
Diligent and reliable, detailed documentation and organizational skills
Fluent in English - another European language is an advantage
Sourcing experience preferred, with contract knowledge a plus.
Contracts administration and management knowledge.
Strong experience in reviewing and managing contracts is required.
