MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB (Brief Summary):
Lead country organisation to meet short and long term PL objectives, represent MDT in front of key clinical and non-clinical stakeholders and ensure effectiveness and efficiency of local infrastructure and optimal level of functional support and continuity of local organization and operations.
MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Shape overall Medtronic go-to-market strategy in a country
Identify opportunities to improve therapy access and market share through innovation of offering, contracting and business model. Mobilize local team to pursue them
Identify IHS opportunities and support their implementation
Identify cross-portfolio selling opportunities in key accounts. Mobilize local team to pursue them
Drive and enable improvements of market access and funding
Optimize functional support and country infrastructure in alignment with relevant functional leadership
Manages distributor contract negotiation and renewal in alignment with relevant Eastern Europe/Regional BU leadership
Contribute to forecast accuracy
Engage in KOLs, medical societies and distributors relationships
Ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements, BCS and operating policies
Represent Medtronic in front of government, regulators, payers, patient groups, industry organizations and top management of key hospitals and buying groups in a country
Contribute to the Talent processes (hiring, performance, rewards, coaching development, Organization Talent Planning) Leadership Team meetings and/or trainings and developmental or projects related activities.
University Degree ideally in a business or management discipline; MBA will be an asset,
Fluency in English and Hungarian, both written and spoken,
Proven track record of successful sales marketing experience in international and medical/life science company,
Prior sales and marketing experience in the defined country,
Experience in managing both distributor and direct sales operation,
Prior full PL responsibility,
People management experience,
Superior account management skills,
Understanding finance systems,
Understanding marketing concepts,
Ability to travel extensively within the country,
Ability to travel internationally to attend Regional,
Operates with high energy, continuously striving for continuous improvements.
