What you'll be doing:

As Collection Professional, you will be in charge of:

  • Monthly analysis of aged debt, monthly cash collection target setting based on total collectable amount, identification of key risks and mitigation actions to ensure collection in the month, through escalations with customer facing functions (sales, contract management) or resolution of customer issues with other BT functions

  • Managing of cash collection activities at customer level including cash in monitoring, overdue debt, management of dunning process, definition and management of payment plans, and triggering of legal procedures

  • Bank account data extraction, submission of cash application data and submission of payments received by customers and or 3rd Party agencies

  • Customer protfolio assignement to 3rd parties

  • Manage write off request on monthly basis for non recoverable debt

  • Managing of payment method, identify route causes for rejected payments and resolve issues

  • Analysis and evaluation of existing 3rd parties performance and identify potential new 3rd parties to be contracted

  • Ability to comprehend and to systematically organize the various aspects of a problem or situation is a must

  • Taking the responsibility and takes care of the consequences of making a decision is a must

  • Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation is an advantage

Professional skills:

  • Analytical skills, ability to work with excel/access to analyse complex data is a must

  • Communication skills, ability to communicate with customers, suppliers and other functions is a must

  • Programme Management, use of PMPM tool to track, monitor progress is an advantage

  • Financial knowledge, basic knowledge of Financial concepts is a must

Language skills:

  • English on a conversational level is a must

  • Italian on a fluent level is a must
