Electrical Product Support Specialist

Location: Budapest, Hungary

As part of the Master Data Team, you will be responsible for gathering and completing the product master data according to the definition of done. In addition he will be providing proper product classification according to various Electrical Industry standards such as ETIM, eCl@ass, BIM, IDEE, C-net,….

Essential Functions:

  • Complete master data attributes on product information based on the definition of done rulebook.

  • Provide to the product line manager a classification of Eaton’s products in the various industry standard classifications such as ETIM or eCl@ss.

  • Support Product Managers in providing industry new classifications data and present the new standard when needed

  • Get approval from the product lines managers on the proposed classifications and maintain these in the PIM tools.

  • Collaborate with the Data Stewards organization to identify priority assortments and actions to drive data quality improvement in the classification data.

  • Follow and promote Master Data maintenance guidelines with the product managers



  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge.

  • 1 year of experience in electrical product support field

  • Computer skills including working knowledge of software packages, internet applications and/or company specific databases

  • Experience in electrical installations and design is an advantage

  • Prior experience in the area of Master Data implementation is an asset

  • Ability to learn, articulate, market and support complex products and technologies

  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and complete projects with tight deadlines

  • Ability to work in a highly international environment / in virtual teams (across different locations) / in a matrix organization

  • Must be a self-starter with energy and enthusiasm

  • Must be strongly customer-oriented

  • Good written & oral communications skills

  • Good presentation skills

  • Fluent in English
