Job Purpose:

Perform transactional procurement services and processes for dedicated EMEA clusters/countries.

To assist, support and manage quote, proposal requirements for Businesses

Job Background:

This role reports to ESC Procurement Operations Manager, which delivers operations and systems support for processes including tactical buying, transactional procurement, and system SME support.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Position Responsibilities:

• Quote Management

o Liaise with suppliers, cluster sourcing, in-country sourcing and commodity managers and internal customers

o Utilize various procurement tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information

o Obtain quotations from suppliers

o Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing

o Provide support and advise to end user and suppliers on products, purchase orders and invoices

• Order Management

o Managing ad-hoc transactional sourcing activity

o Place manual orders with vendors

o Coordinate approval of POs

o Facilitate usage of P-Cards

o Managing catalogue content

o Respond to customer service and supplier inquiries and clarify requirements and provide information as needed

• Quality and Controls

o Meet all audit guidelines and ensure adherence to Citi process and procedures.

o Maintain service levels to customers, evidenced by KPIs

o Ensure high-levels of Customer Service and satisfaction in a challenging Shared Services environment.

o Support a seamless interface with Accounts Payable.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 1-2 years experience gained in any procurement related role is an advantage

• Commercial awareness / acumen

• Operational experience in a financial shared services environment is an advantage

• Experience of Procurement applications

• Experience of working in an international context an advantage

• Process improvement skills an advantage

• P2P experience an advantage

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
