Role Summary:

The Analyst will support the EMEA Sourcing team of the GE Lighting Business (120,000 million USD annual purchase). The candidate will be a part of the Supply Chain Finance team responsible for all types of Variable costs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in monthly estimation and reporting of PPV, Inflation and variable cost for Lighting Europe business

  • Participate sourcing tasks in annual Standard cost calculation process

  • Deep dive analysis of buy and PPV drivers, highlight opportunities and risks to reach Operating Plan

  • Exchange rate change effect calculation for the Supply Chain P&L

  • Coordinate tracking and reporting of risks and opportunities

  • Reports and financial analysis preparation, explanation of financial results and variances to the plan

  • Ad-hoc analysis to Sourcing, as required

  • Participate in planning and closing cycles (monthly/quarterly closings, OP, SII, Estimates etc)


  • University or college degree in Finance/Accounting,

  • Some years of financial experience

  • Good command of English, other language knowledge is an advantage

  • Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, SAP, Business Objects, etc. Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation.

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Accounting department experience is an advantage,

  • Strong communication and inter personal skills,

  • Team player attitude
