Role Summary:

To provide professional & proactive HR administration support to the GE businesses as part of the OneHR team through building effective relationships with the GE HR community, the Payroll & Benefits team as well as other COEs and an expert working knowledge of GE HR policies, processes and tools.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of performance against service levels and workload distribution

  • Handling escalations: Working closely with respective team members to understand root cause and decide on immediate mitigation. Propose process improvements to team leader as required preventing re-occurrence.

  • Point of contact (via phone) for employees, line managers and HR managers with regards to process and tool related questions / improvement proposals

  • Trainer for new team members and delivery of line manager and HR manager trainings via phone and WEBEX

  • Maintain calendar of monthly and yearly tasks, update monthly checklists as necessary

  • Develop a strong working relationship with the GE HR community through timely and accurate administration of HR processes, ensuring effective communication and early identification of requirements & any service issues

  • Drive implementation of enterprise standard tools and processes – leading project streams as required

  • Analyze customer feedback, service level and volume trends and proactively work out action plans on constant process improvement

  • Processing of employee lifecycle transactions (incl. document creation) such as salary increases, hour changes, leaves line with associated service levels (timeliness, and quality) as well as compliance regulations

  • Maintain HR Oracle database and electronic payroll file, ensuring highest standards of completeness, accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation and business specific process

  • Review and own process documentation – manage maintenance schedule with the team

  • Ensure that appropriate controls are in place, taking accountability for quality and compliance with relevant legal and GE policy requirements

  • Proactively represent the Budapest team within the OneHR team for Germany (attendance of calls, presenting status updates, building relationship and credibility)

  • Experience in HR Administration
