At Commercial Shared Services CSS we work on tasks that directly impact customers. We provide services to GE Water sales and service teams that enable them to attract and serve customers faster, with better quality. Within the CSS organization the team has been put in place to enable Customer facing employees to spend the maximum of their time with the Client and help them throughout the whole Customer lifecycle. From Customer onboarding (Customer Master), through Installed Base Management, preparation of price proposals and service contracts to various sales reporting, the team provides solutions for GE businesses in various domains (fields).
GE announced they signed a definitive agreement to sell the Water & Process Technologies business to SUEZ, a services and solutions company with global operations primarily in water and waste management. The deal will be subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory review and appropriate consultation and we expect this to be complete by mid-2017. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.
Let’s participate in building up a function from the scratch which will operate as a Center of Excellence across Europe and drive wing-to-wing processes as an Order Management Specialist.
Provide high standard order management to support to business stakeholders
Have key account alignment with full ownership
Cooperate with customers (both existing and prospective), distributors
Manage customer orders
Solve incoming queries from customers and sales representatives
Be the first point of contact for the customers regarding status update of the order
Facilitate collaboration across various stakeholders of the company, e.g. engineering, commercial, legal, finance, master data team and supply chain
Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification
Manage purchase orders, create and make corrections in customer invoices
Handle customer complaints using the appropriate tools
Interface with business stakeholders and other teams to identify and resolve problems during the full order management cycle
Ensures that each request related to commercial operations is documented, compliant with established business controls and is processed in a timely manner
Understand and fulfill all regulations of the internal policies of the company Qualifications/Requirements:
Proficiency in German and English language
University or College degree or equivalent
Advanced level of the language of the supported region and English skills
Working experience in customer service
Effective and professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers
Solid critical thinking, ability to act as a gatekeeper
Ability to overview complex processes
Ability to work with remote teams
Customer service attitude
Capability to overcome obstacles
Logical thinking, analytical mindset
Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook Desired Characteristics:
At least one additional European languages (other than Hungarian)
Solid SAP knowledge and experience as a user
