What you'll be doing:

As Global Sales Tools Specialist, you will be in charge of:

  • You will be designing and running sales tools user and governance forums with a view to agreeing the transformation tools roadmap and developments with all relevant stakeholders

  • You will be responsible for development, change management, testing, implementation and operation of the sales tools

  • You will be enabling new product launches with enhanced tool features and new data build processes. You will need to understand the operating process within the sales and quotation management, the effort expended throughout (operational swim-lanes and sales user journeys) and translate these into business improvement requirements

  • You will capture and analyse the business requirements for the tools; monitoring usage and driving gap plans where usage is below KPI

  • You will prepare and provide launch user training and user help documentation

  • You will be responsible for budget building, business case development and cost management associated with specific named sales tools and tool development projects.

  • You will manage user experience to ensure a high level user satisfaction (80 %)

  • You will act as a quality gate for the business to protect the business from poor quality tool coding

  • Focusing on the objectives and the required outcomes of the processes during delivering a service is a must

  • The ability to convey information to someone effectively and efficiently while creating a good first impression and engaging the audience is a must

  • Acting in advance of a future situation, e.g. making things happen, putting energy to solve the situation is a must

  • Have a proven ability to build and maintain long term stakeholder support is a must

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role is a must

Professional skills:

  • Have a degree qualification (engineering/science) or has served a technical apprenticeship is a must

  • Have relevant, contemporary and industry recognised qualifications appropriate to the specific function is an advantage
