Ericsson Hungary is looking for a Network Verification Engineer

Job Summary:

Ericsson IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a core network solution that delivers rich real-time communication services for both consumer and business users over any access network and for any device types, including smartphones, tablets, wearables, laptops and fixed phones.

We are looking for an IMS network verification engineer to complete and strengthen our Network System Test (NWST) team. Successful candidate will work with all the IMS nodes, Virtual Network Functions (VNFs), networks, and VoLTE solution. Activities include requirement analysis, integration, verification, configuration management, product documentation, and test automation.

Everyday Tasks:

  • Preparation of the node/network configuration for the test
  • Preparation of the test specification by designing new test cases
  • Performing I&V; test activities according to the related test specification
  • Reporting faults and supporting designers with trouble-shooting
  • Providing system support to other Ericsson design centers or customers all over the world
Our expectations:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Good command of English
  • Good understanding of IP networks, Linux and/or Cloud
  • Ability to work in agile/multi-site team
  • Flexibility, quick learning
  • Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
  • Innovating, adapting and responding to change
  • Planning and Organizing Skills
