Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with the required expertise and care in line with the relevant rules, policies and instructions given by the direct manager or substitute.

  • Work in line with the GE Spirit & Letter guidelines.

  • Completely execute the tasks given by the direct manager.

  • On-going self-development, participation at additional courses, trainings

  • Create the monthly Medium Term Capacity Plan considering service, plant productivity, finished goods inventory targets, mix and turn

  • Provide volume inputs for Manufacturing (Hungary and US) and Sourcing

  • Frequently collect and review market demand, understand market trends

  • Lead global calls related to demand and capacity, make necessary decisions

  • Follow regulations globally related to Lighting Products, execute necessary actions in operations

  • Measure and report-out service, deliver service targets, minimize backorders, maximize revenue

  • Maintain, manage and improve inventory level and mix, deliver inventory targets, improve turn

  • Minimize excess stock on Product Line, collect and execute actions for slow moving inventory

  • Manage product line projects, transfer of work, NPI or range review projects

  • Be the interface between Production, Factory Supply Chain, Product Management and Commercial

  • Develope current processes and find opportunities for process improvement and innovation Qualifications/Requirements:

  • University Degree or Equivalent – preferably in Economics

  • Experience in Manufacturing / Sourcing / Supply Chain

  • Ability to lead & motivate cross-functional teams

  • Ability to 'drill down' into problem areas & resolve issues, excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to execute tactically and develop strategic plans

  • Project Management / Execution skills

  • Proven Leadership skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Tenacious, confident and resilient, able to influence others

  • Great MS Office knowledge, SAP or other ERP system knowledge is an advantage
