Role Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis team is providing comprehensive financial planning, reporting & analysis to our GE Business Partners in Europe and to our Global Corporate Leadership. Our goal is to streamline processes, create tools & analytical solutions to simplify financial reporting and drive efficiency across the company

Essential Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Financial partner of the Global Operations team in Europe and key GE businesses

  • Leverage Supply Chain finance experience to serve as a finance advisor/subject matter expert

  • Drive and support Supply Chain/Manufacturing initiatives in various GE businesses, Identify process improvement opportunities and support simplification projects

  • Serve as thought leader on enabling productivity

  • Liaise/work together with Supply Chain leaders, participate in regional/global roll-ups/reviews

  • Able to design Supply chain value chain, typical control points

  • Financial management of the operation from forecasting to analysis to driving cost out initiatives

  • Drive planning processes: use deep cost knowledge to drive accurate short and medium term forecasts; use cost „DNA" to connect recent trends with cost background and deliver solid estimates

  • Supporting monthly and quarterly closing and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy of monthly/quarterly financials & timely KPI reporting and variances to plans

  • Support Senior Financial Planning and Analysis and Business HQ leadership, establish insightful analysis on Supply Chain performance

  • Own and drive development of analytical solutions for metrics, cost and Supply Chain activity, liaise with the Business Intelligence teams across GE

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong supply chain/Manufacturing finance experience, supply chain cost control

  • Advanced communication skills in English both verbal and written

  • Experience in main inventory control technics

  • Experience in accounts payable controls

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

  • Able to adapt and drive change

  • Team player: able to work across different teams and contribute to a positive environment

  • Supply Chain finance understanding, planning and productivity delivery

  • Accuracy and timeliness reporting to stakeholders

  • Process efficiency

  • Internal client satisfaction

  • Affinity to IT, automation, efficiency processes and systems
