IBM Network Operator in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Within the IBM Client Innovation Centre our professionals offer high level engineering consultation service and ensure the operation of business critical IT systems of different customers. We are looking for a Network Operator into our 2nd level team in Budapest, who will be responsible for the operation of more than 8000 active network devices all over the world.

  • Monitoring Cisco routers and switches, loadbalancers, wireless controllers, WAN links and VoIP systems

  • Opening and handling of incidents

  • Troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, and Datacenter impairments and outages

  • Communicating with local contacts, providers and network engineering

  • Solve network problems based on well-defined processes and checklists as fast as possible

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol family

  • Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols, switching and routing concepts

  • Basic experience in troubleshooting

  • Basic experience with Cisco CLI

  • Knowledge of VPN, ACS, TACACS+, RADIUS, RSA and NAT protocols/technologies

  • CCNA certificate

  • Ability to work in 24/7 shifts (12 hours)

  • English: Intermediate level (spoken and written)

  • Certificate of good conduct (erkölcsi bizonyítvány)
