IBM Payroll Accounting Practitioner (Fluent French) in BUDAPEST, Hungary

The main mission of the Payroll domain is to deliver Payroll services to external clients. The team in general is responsible for the administration of various inputs received (from HR, employees, management, authorities, client), to run the payroll to generate payments to employees and third parties in an accurate, timely and well controlled manner, complying with the country specific regulations and proceed the accounting transfer from the HR module to the general ledger. The Payroll Accounting Practitioner is responsible for delivering HR Payroll Accounting Services to a defined client in accordance with the agreed service standards.Key Responsibilities:The Payroll Accounting Practitioner ensures the timely and accurate processing and reconciliation of payroll balances through to ensuring the payment of third party payments to external vendors and regulatory bodies.

  • Ensures the timely & accurate processing of the monthly payroll accounting closing activities in accordance with the agreed service standards

  • Ensures the timely & accurate preparation of the monthly Reconciliation of all Employee Services Owned Accounts

  • Takes full ownership of the resolution of open items posted in the owned accounts (includes coordination with other service lines and contacts either via call or email)

  • Clearing of reconciled open items

  • Performs Account Sense Checking

  • Prepares account journal entries (SAP FI posting) by compiling and analyzing account information

  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information

  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups

  • Maintains financial security by following Business Control Requirements (both Client & IBM SOX controls)

  • Prepares payments (SAP FI posting) by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements

  • Continually strive to deliver excellence in Customer Service

  • Providing Cost/Variance/Expense/Provision Analysis upon request

  • Various Business Control Requirements : provides support on both Client and internal audit requirements

  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential

  • Accomplishes the result by performing the duty

  • English: Fluent

  • French: Fluent

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent time management skills and an ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Organized, logical and methodical approach
