BT PPM Advisor in Budapest, Hungary

Purpose of the role:

This is a fast paced and varied role that requires a pro-active and dynamic mind-set with an ability to work well under pressure and to tight timelines. The purpose of the role is to support Programme & Project Management systems (Clarity and Oracle) and its users worldwide to cater for management information requirements. This is a team member role.

Requirements:

  • Acquires and maintains high-level knowledge of all procedures

  • Owns and manages complex processes, proactively resolves and reports issues

  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks

  • Participates in efficiency projects in line with customer requirement

  • Works collaboratively with others to set standards and procedures that achieve a high level of quality, productivity, or service

  • Ensures business rules and controls in place

  • Acts as mentor/trainer for backups and new joiners

  • Educates the end user as and when necessary

Experience:

  • Time & Project Accounting experience - relevant experience in finance or general business

  • Good understanding of corporate environment, stakeholder management

  • Customer focussed experience

Communicational skills:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Technical skills:

  • Confident user of MS Office programs (especially Outlook and Excel)

  • SQL/database mgt and reporting knowledge is an advantage!

Soft skills:

  • Enthusiastic, open-minded, helpful, co-operative

  • Has a can do attitude, excellent team player, acts as a role model

  • Has great attention to detail, sets his/her performance standards high

  • Curious, methodological and never stops learning

  • Analytical mindset
