Alcatel-Lucent Reporting Analyst - BUDAPEST in Budapest, Hungary


We are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to work within our Analytics & Insight Team. The successful candidate will work with Marketing campaign and Program leaders to: define and implement measurement strategies that align with NOKIA marketing and business objectives; anticipate the effectiveness of campaigns and tactics in certain markets; produce meaningful marketing KPI dashboards; and to deliver monthly, cross-channel performance reports that provide insight. The role will also involve hosting conversion optimisation consultancies, to improve efficiency in clients digital marketing strategies and to increase their ROI.

  • Main responsibilities: *

  • Campaign strategy *

  • Identifying marketing campaign or program objectives and advising on measurement strategies

  • Benchmarking performance across channels and advising on KPIs

  • Using methodical performance analysis to influence, or support campaign strategies

  • Reporting and analysis *

  • Reporting on key metrics, analysing and interpreting trends and providing insights that can be acted upon

  • Performing ROI analysis to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of different campaigns

  • Analysing the effect of different online and offline channels

  • Examining online user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution

  • Client focus *

  • Delivering regular reporting and analysis documentation to campaign and marketing leads

  • Presenting findings or test results in person or virtually

  • Educating campaign owners about the importance of online measurement and performance optimisation

  • Analytical and technical *

  • Spotting potential in new technologies to implement and improve analytical procedures

  • Using data sources to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall) performance issues

  • Communication *

  • Working closely with the commercial team to identify cross-selling opportunities

  • Collaborating with the marketing engineering teams to optimise and enhance the analytics platform


  • Key skills and experience *

  • Working within a marketing, or business intelligence environment

  • Delivery technologies and data access plus familiarity with: metadata, data organization, data quality assessment and data profiling

  • Comfortable manipulating and analysing complex, high-dimensional data from varying sources

  • Experience with Data Mining tools: SQL, BigQuery, NoSQL etc.

  • Skill with Analytics tools and software: R, PowerBI, Tableau, VB for MS Excel, Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics, etc.

  • Demonstrable skills in Marketing, Marketing Reporting, and Applications (e.g. Marketo, Eloqua, SFDC) for Funnel and Digital Campaign Reporting are preferred
