BT Reporting Analyst – France in Budapest, Hungary

We are looking for

Reporting Analyst – France

in our SSC in Budapest to support France market and BT Global Services organization.

Purpose of the role

  • Provide monthly reporting related to the BT France Central Business unit

  • To deliver complete, accurate, timely, fit for purpose management information and analysis.

Responsibilities

Month End:

  • Follow month end process (Milestones) for the assigned French “Central” Business units

  • Support Flash “Work Day 3” and “Work Day 6” reports and related reports with analysing assigned business units

  • Prepare variance analysis for month end (Actuals vs Forecast, vs previous periods, vs Budget)

  • Ensure Sox requirements are met

  • Understand and comment significant variance between actual and forecast data

  • Support France Central Reporting lead in preparing Service Lines reporting packs, and reply to their questions

  • Organize monthly financial review meetings/calls with operational owners during monthly financial reviews for assigned business units

Budget / Forecast :

  • Manage Budget/ monthly reforecast build on owned central business unit

  • Ensure deadline are met

  • Manage bottom-up build (coordinate local Business Unit forecast)

  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reporting Packs

  • Prepare monthly reforecast of assigned business units, and ensure proper Interlocks with operational owners

Other :

  • Identify process improvement opportunities, suggest new tools and upgrades in ERP ;

  • Manage internal and external ad hoc report requests

  • Specific Projects control (budgets, analysis, suggesting actions, inform about risks)

Requirements:

  • College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics)

  • Mandatory: High quality of written and spoken English, French language is an advantage

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working in finance role focusing on controlling area.

  • Able to grasp complex process quickly.

  • Good financial acumen

  • Good team player/builder.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment.

  • Sets high standards, with a strong focus on accuracy and relevance of information.

  • Able to approach others in a constructive and open manner.

  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
