For our Eaton HR Service Division based in Budapest we are looking for:

Senior EMEA HR Services Leader

As a member of Eaton’s Electrical & Corporate EMEA HR Leadership Team, actively participate in the definition & implementation of Eaton’s HR strategy in EMEA, with direct accountability for EMEA HR Services (HRS).

Essential Functions:

  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making of the EMEA HR strategy for HRS in alignment with current and long-term business objectives

  • Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor and counselor for EMEA leadership teams, HR leaders and key stakeholders with regards to EMEA HR Services

  • Diagnose gaps between current and target state and deploy actions to resolve the gap

  • Act as a change agent driving the EMEA strategic HRS initiatives and actively drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy. Drive continuous improvement

  • Build, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop regional teams of HR professionals and managers to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of the EMEA HRS strategy, according to established guidelines and budgets

  • Accountable for the full range of HR administration / transactional services in the geographies that the team is serving

  • Ensure the implementation of HR technology solutions to enhance the process efficiency; leverage resources from WHQ and IT to support the technology implementation

Accountable for the service metrics performance of the HRS

  • Responsible for the total budget of the HR services

  • Ensure ongoing and constructive stakeholder management with HR COE functions and internal clients

  • Represent the group in interactions with external parties in order to protect and promote the group interests and reputation


  • Master degree, preferably with concentration in HR or Labor Law and CIPD accreditation

  • Experience in multi-national HR Management environment across EU

  • Experience in Business Services Center and/or Shared Services is required. Familiar with using technology tools to deliver services

  • General knowledge of local employment laws and ability to apply legal concepts to real world situations

  • Experience in managing a multicultural team, leadership style which can motivate and coach a large size team

  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategy and in driving continuous improvement

  • Process oriented, results driven, excellent customer service skills, and negotiation/influencing skills

  • Proven track record of leading and executing organizational and cultural changes

  • Excellent communication and networking skills to connect with multiple stakeholders across the company

  • Project Management certification and proven track record preferred

  • English is mandatory. Multiple other European language is a plus
