Role Summary:

As a Sr. Marketing Automation Developer, you need to understand how to accelerate growth by creating scalable marketing programs through automation. You have a passion for operational efficiency and thrive on driving revenue through automation, create platform independent HTML/CSS templates optimized for deliverability.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding Marketo Program and campaign setup, optimization, Template development, Lead scoring models and reporting

  • Firm understanding of lead conversion funnel with a strategical mindset to be able to consult key marketing stakeholders

  • Confident HTML/CSS skills with understanding website development environment and challenges

  • Solid experience with marketing automation/email service provider or tool (Marketo/Eloqua preferred)

  • Moderate knowledge of (or another CRM tool)

  • Solid understanding of workflow processes and systems to optimize marketing and sales productivity.

  • Strong understanding and previous work experience with social advertising channels

  • Technical setup of Email Nurture, Event Campaigns with the associated flows and targeting settings

  • Administrate Marketing automation platform connected to a CRM system

  • Delivering reports and develop dashboards for campaign success evaluation

  • Optimizing materials for campaign tracking and attribution

  • Creating the HTML templates & necessary development work to handle email campaign launches through Marketo.

  • Monitor the Lead database and dispatch orphan MQLs daily to the appropriate Sales reps.

  • Help regional teams localize global campaigns, by cloning them and overwriting global content with translated content.

  • Create and implement the strategy for lead nurture campaigns and work with cross-functional teams to make it a reality.

  • Manage/optimize digital channels: ad spend across SEM, retargeting, and display, email efficiency across offers and nurturing to drive more leads while optimizing costs.

  • Own landing page testing and optimization from hypothesis development to execution and measurement.

  • Assist with creation, deployment and management of weekly emails.

  • Optimize email channel as well as other strategic channels as directed.

  • Assist with the development of landing pages / optimize to enhance user experience and conversion.

  • In collaboration with Creative and Marketing teams, as well as 3rd party vendors, build and constantly test Marketo programs that achieve the goals and objectives of the campaign - correct assets, copy, images, CTA, data collection and tracking points.

  • Handle high volume requests each week while delivering high quality work.

  • Develop and manage strategic marketing campaigns that align with our revenue goals to drive and nurture demand in a scalable repeatable way.

  • Experience with Marketo involving complex buyer journeys across a wide array of products and services. Experience with creation of Marketo assets, programs and automations.

  • Solid business acumen including a good sense of how a well-integrated Marketo and CRM systems can be utilized to improve business.

  • Technical, strategic, and functional expertise with all marketing automation development and executions

  • Create lead capture forms and landing pages to support acquisition and demand generation programs, to successfully reach new customers and expand revenue growth within existing customer base.


  • Marketo certified Expert with a professional track record

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience

  • Must have significant recent tactical and strategic Marketo experience

  • Experience with, campaign design, marketing automation, and/or web analytics.

  • Proficient using of Marketo.

  • Highly strategic and able to uncover and understand business needs.

  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both written and verbal form).

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Industry knowledge

  • Working knowledge of content marketing and persona management
