PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

  • SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) is a fully managed, secure cloud that offers elasticity and flexibility with optional subscription based pricing, making it easy to access for companies. This offering allows customers to run their SAP HANA applications in a managed cloud environment. It’s ideal for mission-critical applications such as SAP Business Suite, SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse as well as custom SAP HANA applications and can be used either for productive use, or as a project accelerator. HEC delivers the power of real-time in-memory technology with cloud simplicity.

  • The SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Sales team focusses on taking this offering to market delivering a world-class solution to customers and contributing to the overall Cloud success of SAP. Our primary focus is to drive HEC customer adoption and the associated Cloud revenues whilst accelerating the closing of HANA license revenues.

  • We are currently looking for energetic sales professionals to join a dynamic team which is determined to position SAP as THE Cloud Company. Be part of this exciting journey to extend SAP’s leadership in the Cloud space.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Sales responsibility for SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud: Engage with customers to position SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud by creating interest, positioning offering, preparing and selling value proposition and finally closing deal

  • Participate in a team-selling environment

  • Work professionally and successfully in virtual account teams:

  • License sales to support and accelerate HANA license deals

  • Services sales to accelerate solution delivery

  • HANA and HEC Architecture teams to drive and mature HEC deals

  • Provides leadership with regards to HEC selling

  • Shape HEC deals and identify best strategy to close deals

  • Pipeline building and successful closing of opportunities

  • Forecasting to achieve budget and achieving forecasts as committed

  • Elaborate HEC offerings directly with customer and account team

  • Willingness to support the CEE region with the HEC business in other countries …”

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university

  • Fluency in English and native Hungarian

  • Confidence to deal with Executive level

  • Sales of Cloud, Hosting, AMS, BPO, SaaS, IaaS or similar experience

  • Good understand of Technologies and IT Operations

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Experienced with SAP Applications, Databases and Data Warehousing, SAP HANA

Preferred skills:

  • Highly driven self-starter

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Competencies in building strong business relationships quickly

  • SAP License Sales experiences within an industry or cross

  • Experience with complex sales and “big-ticket” deals

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years’ sales experience in direct sales (quota carrying), ideally in large organizations

  • 3 years’ sales experiences in IT Infrastructure Hosting & Outsourcing

  • Minimum 3 years of SAP product application experience

  • Worked in large companies with matrix organization

  • Value selling and solution selling experience
