Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead one of our test laboratories

  • Establish equipment for running the laboratory

  • Lead and organize the test team for environmental and system test

  • Plan quality tests for audio amplifier

  • Examination of customer requirements and calculating costs and efforts

  • Negotiate issues with other departments and customers

  • Identify partners for cooperation

  • Manage external tests

  • Drive cooperation with other Harman test or engineering sites and leverage synergies

  • Improve team performance by training, feedback, coaching and new talent acquisition

  • Plan and manage the test laboratory budget

Qualification:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Knowledge of electrical measurement and testing techniques

  • Knowledge of environmental testing standards (e.g., LV124)

Experience & knowledge:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in testing in the automotive industry

  • Team leadership

  • Laboratory Management

  • Quality Management

  • Environmental tests, LV124

  • Bus technology in automotive: CAN, MOST, Ethernet

  • Qualification and test of automotive components

  • Automated tests, HIL tests

  • Audit experience

  • ISO / IATF16949,

  • Audio technology & embedded systems

Skills:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Willingness to travel

  • Ability to build relations and work independently

  • Self-motivated, passionate about audio and high sense of responsibility
