Responsibilites:

• Performs/Supervises product costing and maintains standard costing for the Division

• Performs/Supervises annual standard cost roll activities

• Ensures standardization across the division for key accounting processes, calculations, reserves, etc.

• Maintains overhead rates in SAP tables and records all overhead adjusting entries during month-end close

• Prepares/Supervises preparation and posting of journal entries associated with inventory, cost of sales, and related reserves

• Prepares month end accrual journal entries as directed.

• Prepares/Reviews inventory related Samsung GC and Supplemental schedules as assigned

• Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, company controls, and accounting theory

• Prepares/Reviews inventory related GL reconciliations

• Adheres to all Cost Accounting SOX documentation for Cost Accounting Processes

• Assists with audit inquiries and preparation of audit related analyses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field

• Professional Certification, e.g. Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or local equivalent preferred

• At least 5+ years of Cost Accounting experience including setting standards, inventory costing, overhead rate and reserve calculations, and subsidiary ledger to GL reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP required

• Working knowledge of SAP

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

• Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment

• Ability to communicate clearly in both Hungarian and English, both written and verbal
