IBM Entry Level Mainframe Specialist in SZEKESFEHERVAR, Hungary

The role is responsible for providing support for Mainframe systems after finished the training program. Mainframe is the market leading IT solution for customers from commercial, government and banking sectors. After the training period (9 months) the Mainframe specialist will be able to support complex environment, handle different issues and incidents, and will be able to execute changes on the environment. During the first phase of the training period (3 months) the Specialists will have an overall view on the Mainframe architecture, subsystems and solutions. In the second phase (6 months) the Specialist will have a specialized training covering the area she or he will be responsible for.

tasks: - actively participate in the training program

After the training and - depends on the specialization - the role is responsible for:• Panning and installation of DB2 for z/OS subsystem and maintain software versions, troubleshooting• Planning and installation of z/OS system and maintain software versions, troubleshooting• Planning and installation of MQ/CICS/IMS system and maintain software versions, troubleshooting• Manage and maintain zSecurity subsystem (RACF), troubleshooting• Install and maintain different vendor tools on Mainframe environments (CA, BMC, etc)• Plan and maintain Mainframe storage solutions• Use of the current processes/tools to assist with security healthchecking and maintenance of security standards• Ensure that security APARS and PTFs/RSUs are managed and applied in timely manner• Working to establish and build on collaborative working relationships with customer groups and other teams.• Reviewing and approving change control plans
