IBM Systems Administrator IBM iSeries in SZEKESFEHERVAR, Hungary

This role is performed by technical professionals who specialize in providing perform services to clients on hardware and software components. Activities include operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, middleware applications, various database technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing.

Job responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: operation and maintenance of operating systems and platform support, database administration, capacity planning, performance management, security compliance. Support is also provided for systems management tools which monitor the operational status of the environment.

  • High School Diploma(GED)- At least 3 years in IT services- Knowledge System administration of IBM i (AS/400, iSeries, System i) operating systems- Resolve complex problems occurred on the IBM i servers- Support the installation of operating system releases, and migration- Experience in IBM i system administration tasks- Experience in migration and OS upgrade- Manage backups- Maintain documentation- Troubleshooting of automated services- Support High Availability and Clustering solutions- Fluent English knowledge
