IBM Supply Chain Operations Professional in VAC, Hungary
As a key member of the IBM Global Logistics Finished Goods control tower to oversee all aspects of physical delivery throughout the Eastern European region including Russia. The role will require the post holder to engage with suppliers providing the delivery service, measure performance, investigate and resolve issues and complaints. In addition the post holder will represent the interests of Hungary Global Logistics through liaison with the suppliers European control tower located in Budapest and the suppliers plant logistics unit located in Vac. Some travel between Budapest and Vac is therefore required. The role requires that the post holder demonstrate a high degree of flexibility , the ability to work well under preasure and once trained to work with little supervision. There is a requirement to work outside of office hours in the peak Qtr End periods of March, June, September and December. Some travel throughout the East European region may be required.A high level of written and spoken English is essential, other regional language skills are desireable but not essential.Demonstrably client focused.A working knowledge of Transportation and Logistics is desireable but not essential but a willingness to learn about the industry is essential.A proven ability to work to deadlines in a pressurised environment.An ability to influence.
