Syngenta Finance Analyst- Production & Supply in Hungary
ROLE PURPOSE * As a Production & Supply (P&S) Financial Analyst you will execute efficient financial processes (Budget, Latest Estimate, Actuals, Standard Costing) for manufacturing and supply operations in EAME, providing high quality financial analysis and decision support to P&S managers and controlling leads in support of key P&S processes, including inventory management / provisions, P&S cost controlling, savings, cost avoidance and efficiency target monitoring. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide timely and insightful financial analysis to support business decisions at local and regional level. * Discuss financial performance and results with respective Production and Supply business managers and finance stakeholders, pro-actively highlighting deviations from targets. * Execute key reporting processes to ensure timely completion of budget, standard costing, latest estimate and actual information requirements, in accordance with established financial frameworks and group deadlines. * Develop, implement and provide scalable, sustainable and insightful financial reports and reporting tools that meet the needs of P&S managers and controlling leads. * Key user for SAP / Data Warehouse. * Execute and prepare SOX controls as part of a compliance framework. * Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis requests as needed (e.g. business cases). * Establish and maintain strong working relationships across various P&S departments in the EAME region and HQ.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Master's degree or bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting preferably supported with post graduate professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, Qualified Accountant etc.). * Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Financial Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar role, Controlling experience or an insight to regional/cross-region Controlling processes is an advantage. * Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and month end close processes in a multi-national company. * Experience working in an international environment in a complex matrix organisation. * Sound understanding of key financial concepts, solid theoretical background in finance and accounting. * Experience in the understanding and effective communication of financial results to non-financial staff. * Good working experience of ERP systems (SAP) and financial reporting systems and tools * Exposure to Manufacturing industry and Cost Accounting (Production/Manufacturing, Supply Chain) is strongly preferred.
