  • Transactional responsibility for indirect spend relating to Raw material and MRO purchases

  • To ensure the reliable and timely supply of goods and services as per requested delivery dates

  • To create timely and accurate Purchase Orders, to maintain accurate information records, to follow-up on POs with suppliers (expediting), to resolve invoice discrepancies and other buying activities as required

  • To troubleshoot any internal/external issues within the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process

  • To identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities for streamlining work functions

  • To closely work with Strategic Sourcing Managers/Leaders on relationship management and issue resolution

  • To identify and execute savings opportunities within portfolio


  • At least 2 years of work experience in any related field (Procurement, Customer Service)

  • Fluent German and English language knowledge is a must

  • Higher education

  • In-depth understanding of P2P process

  • Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite, SAP

  • Strong report building skills

  • Experienced in excel spreadsheets and formulas

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Precise, reliable and detailed-orientated personality

  • Excellent team player

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with SAP transactions

  • Purchasing experience

  • Previous experience in the chemical industry

  • Supply Chain demand planning, inventory management, or order execution
