Role Summary:

Responsible for installation, architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of various components of multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment. S/he provides support for escalated application issues, including diagnosis and resolution of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity ensuring the root cause of the problem is addressed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Area of expertise is SAP ECC6 FICO modules, with good understanding of Financials, Controlling processes and its requirements.

  • Provide solid level functional and configuration knowledge in solutions.

  • Contribute to the team and work with direction from Senior Team Members or management, beginning to work independently.

  • Participate in user requirements gathering, contributes to design discussions.

  • Write functional specifications in detail, understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between processes, functional modules.

  • Support project implementations, perform configuration, testing, fixing, training, change requests, enhancements, new functionality implementation as needed.

  • Cooperate with support team, actively provide functional, technical, and process knowledge for rapid issue resolution.

  • Has the ability to take ownership of small tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary.

  • Demonstrate the ability to help team members.


  • Professional degree coupled with solid Technology and Business Process experience

  • Exposure to Industrial businesses is a big plus.

  • Experience working with off-shore team (development or application support)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Desired Characteristics:

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Awareness of ITIL or similar IT processes

  • Excellent team player, ability to work effectively with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Highly self-motivated, able to work independently

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience contributing to a full-lifecycle project (either core model definition or ERP worldwide roll-outs)
