We are looking for a Financial Reporting Senior Analyst for our Team within the Regulatory Reporting organization.

Who we are? EMEA Regulatory Reporting Citi Service Centre (CsC) in Budapest is a key part of the Finance function. It is Citi’s pioneering center on a global scale where local regulatory reporting professionals work together in a central location, to ensure consistent quality of local regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions and legal vehicles.

This role is part of the Credit Risk reporting team which manages Basel2/3 Credit Risk monitoring and reporting.

Financial Reporting Sr Analyst – Credit Risk

Your tasks:

  • Within the Credit Risk team create and formulate monthly and quarterly prudential regulatory reports, that detail important aspects of the bank’s financials for the regulators

  • Maintenance and further development of controls & reports including reconciliations, static data & variance analysis

  • Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency

  • Liaising with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk Departments) to resolve issues

  • Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)

  • Check and ensure that procedures and policies are applied to adequately cover rules and regulations

  • Participate in future process migrations from new countries

  • Support the work of the Financial Reporting Manager by executing further relevant tasks he/she allocates


Your profile:

  • 4-6 years of work experience in financial reporting / auditing roles

  • University / College degree in finance / accounting

  • Advanced written and spoken English

  • Advanced MS Excel and Access knowledge

  • Prior experience in a regulatory or risk reporting role is an advantage

  • Basel 2 / Basel 3 / COREP experience highly advantageous

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

  • Excellent analytical skills.
