IBM Global Logistics Systems Second Level Support in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Job Description

The position holder is responsible for supporting the logistics processes and procedures by maintaining the systems’ availability, performance, and keeping the applications updated to fulfill all existing and any newly risen business need.

As Business Analyst, the following tasks are allocated:

  • Supports business transformation projects and initiatives

  • Takes an active role in the application development squad by

  • Proposing new changes (user stories)

  • Works together with the developers on the solution (external design)

  • Participatating actively in the iteration planning

  • Conducting the tests

  • Delegation and coordination of the tests where needed

  • Participating in the deployments

As Second Level Support, the following tasks are allocated:

  • Supports all European Global Logistics Systems and End-users

  • Works closely together with the Development Team

  • Takes major part of problem resolution by actual resolving or by ticket opening

  • Plays an interface between the end users / first level support and the Development Team

  • Has an overall very good knowledge of the systems and keeps this up-to-date

  • Actively participates in the knowledge sharing with the local SLS Team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • English Fluent

  • 2 years of experience on this field

  • SQL knowledge, Second level / 3rd level support experience, Business Analyst Experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Teamplayer

  • Good in working towards deadlines

  • Good analytical skills

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • Knowledge of agile (i.e. worked in an agile environment)

  • Experience in supporting MVS / Mainframe applications

  • Good SQL skills

  • Any programming language skills
