Graduate Leadership Development Program- Quotation Engineer
Eaton Leadership Development Program – in Engineering is designed to accelerate the development of future leaders by providing participants with functional and leadership experiences that enable them to learn, contribute and integrate with the organization. The program is ideal for recent graduates in electrical engineering, engineering who have a proven track record of excellent academic performance and are passionate about a career in a multinational environment in the area of engineering.
This is a two-year program that involves an 18 and a 12-month assignment in EMEA region in the electrical sector. Your assignments will give you multiple opportunities to develop your leadership skills. The assignments will provide participants with exposure to different areas such as and not limited to: outside sales / field sales, account management, customer support, inside sales support (interpreting customer specifications, drawings and schematics to provide quotes, solutions)
First assignment is focusing on gaining proficiency on Eaton’s Power Distribution product portfolio and manage efficiently quotations ensuring technical compatibility, commercial viability and regulatory conformance. Your mission will be to create technical configurations and solutions based on customers’ needs and expectations and complying with local and international standards. You will manage distributors and panel builders inquiries for residential and commercial customers, prepare and present bids and quotations to customers and internal sales force.
During the GLP program you will also have the opportunity to interact with and present to Eaton leaders during your assignments and you will be expected to work with other participants in the program on projects outside of your assigned location.
Locations and rotations might include: Germany, Romania, Prague, Vienna
Upon successful completion of the program, your experience and newly acquired skills could lead you in a variety of career path such as inside sales team leader, product manager or continuous process improvement responsible and other sales leadership roles as identified by the current business needs.
BSC in Electrical, Electronic, Energy or Industrial engineering (MSc in Electrical is an advantage).
Work or internship experience is a plus (max 3 years of experience)
Geographically flexible and willing to relocate during the program
Leadership aptitude and/or demonstrated leadership experience within university or community
Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English and another European language preferably German or French is an asset
