IBM GVMG WorkFlow Team and Project Lead in BUDAPEST, Hungary
The Team Leader’s role is to run their team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that resource is adequate to provide the required level of support. Additionally the Team Leader supports the APC management by providing feedback and information on a timely basis about the team activity and outstanding problems.
Support the management to ensure that all employees be it Adecco or IBM adhere to their Terms and Conditions of Employment
Keep record of sickness/holidays etc.
Health and Safety etc.
A general awareness of the individuals approach to their work (there may be any times when stress, or personal problems may be affecting them)
Ensure that processes that are required within the group are carried out in the timely manner
Define roles, responsibilities and long and short-term objectives following the overall objectives of the APC.
Ensure that work coming into and out of the department is performed in a timely manner
Integrate new systems and application support into the team
Manage the resource of the group and ensure there is cover during the core working hours as well as peak workload times.
Ensure the correct team statistics are provided. Present them to the manager on a regular basis
Maintain day-to-day operation accordingly to SLA/DOU.
Attend and contribute to any meetings with the customer / employee / supplier / management / user group
Ensure there is adequate education and training within the group
Identify skill requirements and educational needs for current and new systems
Be involved on any project work relating to current systems we support or new systems
Be aware of operational / system and process changes within the business that may affect our current support structure
Be aware of the business impact during system outages / problems
Professionalism within the group and communication to the business
Escalation point within the group
Ensuring allocated tasks are completed and giving any feedback to management and the relevant contacts for the activity supported
Assist and provide backup to other group team leaders and management, this includes:
Be involved with personal and resource issues
Understand and be involved with issues that can influence the day-to day operation of the APC
Attend meetings as a representative of the manager, and take actions as necessary
Undertake personal / administrative / technical interviews
Share knowledge and provide mentoring as required
Provide Education to team members as necessary
Act as prime contact for the team
Become process expert for countries in the group.
Set an example for the team.
Support the team in day to day activities when necessary.
Identify areas which require improvements.
Work on implementation of common practices and standard processes.
Ensure good team work at all times.
Ensure team productivity is adequate.
Ensure that processes are documented.
Run regular and ad-hoc calls with the countries and other IBM functions.
Assist in projects when required.
Work with Business Controls Team to ensure compliance with Internal Audit & Business Controls guidelines.
Respond to requests / questions from countries and other IBM functions.
Raise any issues / problems with the manager
Organize training of new staff and support development of the existing staff
Provide ad hoc reports
