The Lead Accountant SME will handle a range of activities mainly related to leading the efforts of setting ups new entities in Corporate ERPs for all GE Businesses, as part of Biz growth, also supports LE restructuring, acquisitions and divestures. You will be the Single Point of Contact for GE businesses, IT, Record to Report and Source to Pay, Statutory and TAX teams. The role reports to the Sr. Accounting Manager in Finance IT Team and is based in the Budapest Center.
Provide Support to the Sr. Accounting Manager on all activities
Responsible for coordinating/leading of the new entity setups in Corporate ERPs (all sub-ledger implementation: AR, AP, FA, Inventory, Payroll) for all GE Businesses
Ensure processes are consistently created and applied across the activities within scope. Critically examine potential issues where financial risks and opportunities may be drawn out.
Support the Controllership integration processes for new businesses and volumes from a reporting standpoint and form strong relationships with Stakeholders.
Facilitate understanding of specific requirements with business teams for each project
Ensure that the ongoing projects meet the required deadlines and deliverables
Ensure project execution against timelines, budget (Cost Benefit Analyses), scope and quality accepted by key stakeholders
Support Business, IT and Ops teams to define upcoming activities and scope of project
Track and resolve open items identified for each project
Advise and able to support the various stakeholders (GE Business representatives, various Enterprise Standards such as IT, Record to Report and Source to Pay, Statutory, Invoice to Cash and TAX) in the project to meet their goals
On request test /coordinate the testing of different functionalities provided by the IT implementation teams
Qualified Accountant, Master’s degree in Accounting and proven accounting experience.

Excellent level of English (oral and written).
Project management skills and mindset with ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver results on time and on budget
Capable of forging strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues and work effectively with others.
