Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • To support sales to win profitable business by demonstrating superior market, application and solution knowledge and establish Finastra as the trusted advisor to the bank in the designated application areas.

  • To participate in the GTM plans for designated initiatives.

  • To understand and keep up to date with best practice in the designated application areas.

  • To understand the market trends relating to the application areas in the defined regions.

  • Through presentations and demonstrations develop the solution to meet the requirements of the prospect and Finastra.

  • To contribute to the qualification of opportunities by identifying and validating the key drivers.

  • Create and modify existing presentations and demonstrations to meet the proposal requirements.

  • To review proposals made to customers in order to improve the value propositions and demonstration. Scenarios created.

  • To be technically aware of the applications and be able to present their benefits.

  • To understand the business benefits of the applications and be able to give compelling, focused presentations and demonstrations around them.

  • To understand the financial parameters of a sale and be able to construct compelling financial proposals

  • To meet the individual sales quota and achieve expected results.

  • Respond/review RFP/RFI (Request for proposal/information)

  • Prepare Requirement and Functional specifications that becomes input to proposal documents and project Statement of Work

  • Influence product development based on prospect interactions, market trends, local country requirements

  • Effectively communicate the pipelines and forecasts for each solution to senior management; Sales & GSC teams to ensure there is a thorough


  • Degree qualification or equivalent business qualification.

  • Likely to have minimum 5 years banking and consultancy experience.

  • Ability to understand the end to end process, from bid process to closure, of selling Finastra products and services and the factors that influence success including, relationships, risks and costs.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Digital Banking.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Finasta Digital Channels or an equivalent solution e.g. Backbase CXP, Kony

  • Proven track record in providing solutions to the banking sector in Europe

  • Strong knowledge of finance fundamentals, retail banking products life cycle and digital channels

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills

  • Ability to understand and capture business requirements

  • Ability to work independently

  • Fluent English, fluency in one or more European languages preferred

  • Position requires frequent travels
