We are looking for a Third Party Risk Team Lead for our Team within the Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) organization.

Who we are? Our team provides operational support, process guidance, and quality assurance and quality control oversight to businesses across Citi, leveraging a central utility infrastructure, standardized processes and operating procedures in order to execute robust risk management activities throughout the third-party management life cycle.

Third Party Risk Team Lead

Your tasks:

  • Build strong internal relationships and help strengthen controls and awareness across Citi businesses globally

  • Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of third-party risk management activities conducted by the ESC Third Party Utility (TPU)

  • Liaise with Third Party Officers (TPOs), Business Activity Owners (BAOs), and Sector and Regional Risk teams as necessary, to review findings, when related to business actions taken or to be taken

  • Provide expert guidance and support on the development of key controls, standard processes, operating procedures, and promulgation of best practices

  • Perform a lead role in the design, development, and execution of key TPU initiatives

  • Supporting third-party selection process through evaluation of different questionnaires for insurance coverage, HR Management, Subcontractor reliance, corporate responsibilities, etc.

  • Conduct different research activities, like Sanctions Screening, AB&C assessment, Reputation Check and Note Worthy News monitoring

  • Support ongoing monitoring activities through the evaluation of different questionnaires

  • Third-party onboarding activities

  • Documenting termination plans and off boarding of third parties etc.

  • Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews

  • Monitor progress on agreed upon third-party remediation activities and escalate issues as necessary

  • People management responsibility for a team, including coaching and training, as well as regular performance management. Maintain low attrition rate throughout the year.

  • Workforce management responsibility

  • Resource and staff up for related activities

  • Monitor metrics and performance indicators

Your profile:

  • Min. 5 years employment in multinational, supply chain, shared service environment OR 7 years regardless of the field

  • Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Organizational skills: time, priorities, coordination, delegation

  • Decision making, conflict resolution

  • Diplomatic skills / political savvy
