Role Summary:

The Bently Project Engineer is responsible for the technical execution and supervision of Bently vibration monitoring solutions projects, for the architectural design of the solution, supervision of the cabinet design and for the configuration of the Bently monitoring systems and System 1 servers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Technical management of engineering activities in vibration monitoring solution projects

  • Deliver project outputs on high quality level, within the agreed timeframe and cost

  • Ensures that design meets customer needs and fulfils all TRS requirements

  • Review cabinet design process for technology, manufacturability, and compliance requirements

  • Collaboration with Supply chain, test engineers/technicians, planner/buyers and sourcing in order to achieve Company goals, project objectives and to effectively provide solutions to problems

  • Research component data sheets and technical specifications and evaluate technical attributes of components to identify & recommend alternate sources for special customer requirements.

  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to improve quality and cost Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors (or equivalent) in Electrical / Electronics engineering

  • Relevant industrial experience with Bently products

  • Knowledge & experience in selecting & qualifying electronic components

  • Knowledge of electronic components suppliers/vendors & market for latest trends and technology

  • Ability to read and understand component datasheets and interpret electrical and mechanical specifications

  • Experience to read/markup cabinet designs including layout and wiring schematic in AutoCAD or similar CAD tool

  • Complete understanding/working knowledge of engineering design documentation and standard document control practices

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task

  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Desired Characteristics:

  • Design/programming experience with Bently products

  • User’s experience with SAP/PLM systems

  • User’s experience with AutoCAD Electrical tool

  • Depth of knowledge in electrical component types
