Seedcare Business Manager CU

Budapest, Hungary

Role purpose

  • Deliver annual Seedcare business objectives in Hungary directly and through sales team campaigns

  • Manage customer relationships: with lead KAM for regional Accounts and directly for local seed companies

  • Create and Execute overall Seedcare business strategy for Hungary

  • Manage the portfolio of Seedcare Product and Service offers including regulatory and stewardship elements


  • Develop financial targets and budget for 3rd party KA and local seedcare companies

  • Develop differentiated and segmented commercial offers combining products, services, know-how

  • Create and execute KA plans and campaigns in association with global KAM, local campaign Manager and CU Sales team

  • Responsible for coordinating all SC support: downstream, export, marketing and technical

  • Represent SC in forecasting, supply tracking, customer service and sales processes

  • Capture sales upsides and identify downside mitigation measures through close tracking and understanding of sales delivery and forecast during the year

  • Monitor seed market environment and trends as input to regional and KAM portfolio strategies

  • Define and develop portfolio requirements for the Territory

  • Member of the CU leadership team

    Critical Knowledge

  • MSC, BSC level agricultural or horticultural diploma – business studies are advantageous

  • Understanding of seed treatment, crop agronomy and pest control practices

  • Key Account management experience and customer service mentality

  • Marketing, Product management, Business development

  • Understanding of seed market and key account & channel needs to ensure innovative offers and that of commercial and development concepts

    Critical Skills

  • Min. 5 years of experience working in marketing and business management

  • Excellent analytical, strategic, IT, communication and presentation skills

  • Stakeholder management

  • Strong verbal and written English

  • Native Hungarian
